passion意为“激情”，可作可数名词，也可作不可数名词。

第二行love makes weak中，makes后省略了宾语，应该是us，或people。cherish是动词，意为“珍视，真爱”。

let it go是习语，意为“就那样吧”，指任随事情发展而不予理会。这里可能指对方感觉爱情出现问题而准备分手，不再任随两人关系的发展。

　　无论是爱还是恨
　　一定要抓住爱情的机遇
　　但不要丧失原则而自我迷失

follow是“遵从”的意思，fate指“命运”，暗含“命中注定”之意，带有宿命论之说，这点和destiny不同，destiny虽然也表示“命运”，却是比较客观的说法。

seize是“抓住”的意思，通常指抓住某种机会，所以这里the day应该指两人关系中爱情的机遇。

give away本义是“赠送，免费给予”，而give oneself away则是歌曲里经常出现的句子，表示疯狂地爱上某人，甚至不惜一切代价，就像把自己白给了某人一样。

本段中最后一句dangerous是相对于上文而言的，上句说自己不要求很多，紧接着这句说对方的眼神是dangerous，显然说的是这种眼神使自己过于迷恋而要求更多。

spin是动词，意为”快速旋转“，这里指某种想法在头脑里萦绕。masquerade指”伪装“，drop这里意为”摘下，（故意地）使（某物）落下“，即摘下伪装。predict指”预言“。crush against指撞上某物而粉身碎骨。

本段第一行中the thought指的可能是有关两人关系的想法，想也想不明白，所以下句要求彼此坦诚相对。最后两行是predict后接两个并列的问句：where it ends和if you're the rock I'll crush against。即我无法预知我们的感情会怎样结束，也不知道你是否会是一块巨石，将我撞得粉碎。最后一句话中I'll crush against作the rock的定语，是比喻说法，指对方可能会是令自己伤心的人。

这里eyes on sb.相当于catch one's eye，指“吸引某人的注意”。wings通常指舞台上观众看不到的侧面，这里表示自己已经把对方看得很清楚了。quit意为“放弃”。前三行都是省略句，前两行省略的是谓语，第三行省略的是主语，完整句子应为I'd better quit while you're ahead.这里是拿走路比喻两人的交往，“你走在前面，趁我还没有赶上你，这时放弃应该是最好的选择”。

最后一句也是省略句，补全后似乎应为：now I'm not so sure I am myself.我无法认清自己了。理智上想到了放弃，而情感却上不由自主。
