本周，公告牌音乐奖颁奖典礼在炫目的拉斯维加斯举行，流行歌手Ciara和说唱歌手Ludacris共同主持本场音乐盛会。

This week, the Billboard Music Awards took place in the glitzy Las Vegas, Nevada where pop artist Ciara and rapper Ludacris hosted the non-stop power entertainment performances!

可能有些人对此并不熟悉，一年一度的Billboard公告牌音乐奖在美国举办，就全球音乐人本年度的表现进行排名（类似于音乐界的奥斯卡）。

For those of you who may not be too familiar with the Billboard Music Awards, it's a Musical Ceremony in America created every year to rank all the global musicians of the year (its basically like the Oscars but for musicians).

入围名单是根据歌手的音乐表现来确定，包括专辑、唱片销量、电台播放、流媒体、巡演以及西方社交媒体（Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Spotify及流行的在线音乐终端等），Billboard及第三方共同负责本年度中各项衡量指标的记录。1940年以来，“公告牌”排行榜始终是最流行音乐和专辑的风向标，成为衡量音乐人是否成功的终极指标。

Finalists are based and ranked on fan interactions with music, including album and digital songs sales, radio airplay, streaming, touring and western social media interactions (i.e.Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Spotify and other online destinations for music) where these measurements are tracked year-round by Billboard and other 3rd parties. Since 1940, the Billboard charts have been the go-to guide for ranking the most popular songs and albums, and are the ultimate measure of a musician’s success.

There were a lot of great performances during the night, but you know you're in for a good night when an award show kicks off with Britney Spears performing her greatest hits. She had the crowd by the palm of her hand with her major dance moves, sexy pop charisma, and completely owning the scene as she opened the show.

Adele赢得当晚最高荣誉——最佳艺人奖，通过海外的预录视频接受该奖项，其新单“Send My Love (To Your New Lover)”MV也在颁奖典礼上首度曝光。 Justin Bieber获最佳男艺人奖，Rihanna获成就奖大奖（粉丝投票）。

Adele won the biggest honor of the evening as Top Artist, accepting in a pre-recorded video from overseas as well as showcasing the debut of her new music video, "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)". Justin Bieber was ranked as Top Male Artist and Rihanna for the fan-voted Chart Achievement Award.

当晚，Pink在表演最新单曲“Just Like Fire”时，半悬空中，从人群上方飞过，其杂技功底让人惊叹。

We also discovered that night how Pink is still so athletic as she literally flew over the crowd during a performance of her new single, "Just Like Fire."

于4月21日去世的流行歌手Prince如同一部传奇，Stevie Wonder 和 Madonna演唱“Purple Rain”向Prince致以哀悼和敬意。Madonna身穿Prince的标志性紫色衣服并手持一根手杖，用完美演唱缅怀永远的Prince R.I.P！

A strong tribute and homage to the legendary pop singer Prince, who died on April 21, was created through a tribute with Stevie Wonder and Madonna singing ''Purple Rain'' where Madonna wore Prince’s iconic purple attire with a walking stick. It was a powerful performance to remember, Prince R.I.P!

加拿大歌手Celine Dion获得ICON时代大奖。她在演唱完“The Show Must Go On”后，在谈起年初因癌症去世的丈夫René Angélil和哥哥Daniel，以及近来去世的好友Prince、 David Bowie时，几度哽咽。对Dion来说，时日煎熬，经历了太多的苦痛，但她相信一切都会好起来。Dion15岁的儿子突然出现在领奖台上，为她带来惊喜，感人至深。

Very big fan of the Quebec Singer, Céline Dion, she received the award for ''Most Iconic'' . After singing the song “The Show Must Go On” , she had a hard time giving her acceptance speech talking about her husband, René Angélil and Dion’s brother Daniel who both died earlier this year from cancer as well as her good friends Prince and David Bowie passing recently. It was a hard year for her but she is determined it will get better. It was her 15-year-old son René-Charles surprising Dion to present her with her award, which was really emotional.

Gwen Stefani与其男友Blake Shelton联袂演唱最新单曲“Go Ahead and Break My Heart”，不过令Twitter沸腾的却不是她的演出。

而是她的全新造型令歌迷沸腾起来。

一位网友在推特上写道“伙计们，讲真，谁能告诉我 Gwen对自己的脸究竟做了些什么？”

It wasn't the fact that "The Voice" coach sang her new duet "Go Ahead and Break My Heart" with her coworker and reported boyfriend Blake Shelton that had Twitter buzzing.

No, it was instead Gwen's total makeover that got her fans caught up.

One person tweeted "Guys, what did Gwen Stefani do to her face??? This is serious."

The Weeknd – 最大赢家

尽管The Weeknd当晚并未参与表演，但他却是最大赢家，夺得最佳公告牌单曲榜艺人、最佳R&B艺人等八项奖项。

Although the singer didn't perform, The Weeknd was the big winner, taking home eight honors, including Top Hot 100 Artist and Top R&B Artist of the year.
