英国天使之翼童声合唱团成立于伦敦，前身是成立于1984年的圣菲利浦童声合唱团。其团员由7-16岁的男孩组成，分别招募于伦敦各校。1988年发行了第一张专辑《Sing For Ever》；1990年起连续发行了“Angel Voices”系列的4张专辑，开始广为人知；1999年改名为天使之翼合唱团（Libera）后，又发行了同名专辑《Libera》等多张专辑和DVD ，有的获得了全英古典音乐奖年度最佳提名。

Libera was founded in London and the predecessor of Libera was founded in 1984 named as San Philip children's choir. Members of choir were made up of 7 to 16 boys and came from different schools in London. In 1988, the choir released their first album "Sing For Ever"; and then "Angel Voices - New Day" in 1990, the choir began widely known. In 1999, San Philip children's choir was changed to Libera and released "Libera" and many other albums, which were nominated as the best album of the year in British Classical Music Awards.

多年来，该团巡演世界各地，除曾为伊丽莎白女王及世界各著名音乐殿堂、著名音乐节演出外，BBC电视台亦为该团制作了专题纪录片；冰岛流行歌手碧玉、著名男高音帕瓦罗蒂、卡雷拉斯和美声天后海莉等，也曾先后邀请该团于其专辑或演唱会中演唱。该团的纯淨歌声亦可在《夺宝奇兵4》、《罗密欧与茱丽叶》、《未来总动员》、《人魔》等好莱坞大片中听到，并以具有“抚慰人心的神奇力量”而闻名于世。

The choir has toured all over the world. They used to perform in many concerts and for the Pope and Queen Elizabeth, BBC TV also made a special documentary for them; They were also invited by Iceland pop singer Bjork, Pavarotti, Jasper Carreras and diva Hayley Westenra in their albums or concerts. Not only for this, their pure sounds also appeared in many Hollywood blockbuster like "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull 4", "Romeo and Juliet", "Twelve Monkeys," " Hannibal " and other movies. Their songs are famous for their mystery power.

天使之翼童声合唱团的歌声既承袭了童声纯朴、干净和透亮的固有特点，也融合了教堂唱诗班的咏叹，神秘和静谧气息令人回味。近年，该团演唱趋向现代流行品位，在创作和编曲过程加添了new age元素，犹如天使之翼，更具缥缈和悠远之感。

Robert Prizeman是天使之翼童声合唱团的灵魂人物,人称“老罗”。该团大部分歌曲的作曲和编曲都由他完成，他亦陪伴天使般的男童合唱团员造访伊丽莎白女王及各国歌坛，受到广泛追崇。此次，他将率团首次来到中国大陆，传播天使声音，感动千百歌迷。

Robert Prizeman is the soul of Libera. Most of their songs were composed and arranged by him. He also accompanied the members to visit Queen Elizabeth Hall and various countries， which was widely welcomed. This time, he will lead the choir to mainland China and spread the angel voices to millions of fans.
