小编向来对才女总是青睐有加，今天这期“音乐那些事儿”再给大家介绍一位才女。来自美国的乡村女歌手Michelle Branch。熟悉欧美流行音乐的小伙伴们应该对这个名字不陌生，赶着美国流行摇滚浪潮走出来的Michelle Branch曾经与Avril Lavigne等少女歌手分庭抗礼，成为当时主流音乐圈的宠儿。

这位出生于美国凤凰城的姑娘酷劲十足。她有着复杂的混血背景，包括荷兰、印度尼西亚、法国和爱尔兰，从小学习钢琴和吉他，听着Beatles的音乐长大...更重要的是她不落俗套，在teen pop横行的年代，有着属于自己的音乐个性。她坚持原创，并且乐于尝试各种音乐风格。今天介绍的这首《Getaway》就是她和Timbaland合作的一首跨界作品。

这首歌发布于2010年，随即被MINI选择他们当季新车Countryman的广告歌曲，我觉得MINI的选择相当正确。“Getaway”意为“开溜”，也是Countryman初上市时的定位，而Michelle Branch无论是她的率性还是她的曲风都很符合乡村文化，Timbaland在R&B和Hip Hop方面的造诣又与年轻的城市文化相符，他俩合作的这首歌曲与Countryman “Urban meets Country”的混搭主题巧妙呼应。
